★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not satisfied unfortunately. We ordered Hida beef and othes. Hida beef stuffs we got quickly. We spent a lot of time for others for kids. Not shown up finally. We gave up to wait. Beef stick had much oil.

Pretty decent rice bowl. For sure it's above average. I do not know if I'm supposed to have an osen egg, but my egg is kinda overcooked. Therefore i can't mix with my rice.

My practice is always to order Medium Rare to as a benchmarks to indicate if the chef knows how to cook.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on the back of recommendation from my day tour guide. He said this is a less touristy restaurant and still serves very good food. I agree with him totally. There's only 1 or 2 patrons at the restaurant when we get there. Very homely feel. There's English menu, but the people there hardly speak any English. So we just pointed at the menu and also gestured for other instructions. Even though communication is kinda challenge, the service was great.
Food wise, the ingredients are fresh. It was also very value for money. I'd recommend anyone if you want to avoid the crowded restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed the hida beef steak & sukiyaki in a cozy & homely restaurant. The meat were fresh, succulent & melted in your mouth. Their lunch set rice bowls are affordable & the place is popular with locals. For tourists, there is an English menu though the people hardly speak English
