近くにある「半僧坊大権現」も同様に火除けの神さまなので、当時の火事になりたくないという思いは切実だったのかと想像できます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧東海道の秋葉山常夜燈探索で訪れましたが点灯可能な配線を確認したが電球が付いてなかったので点灯していませんでした。竿に秋葉山・永代常夜燈・和暦・寛政12年西暦1800年等と刻まれ村中安全を見守っています。
I visited Akihayama nightlight on the old Tokaido, but I confirmed the wiring that can be lit, but it was not lit because the light bulb was not attached. Akihayama, Eitai nightlight, Japanese calendar, Kansei 12 years, 1800 AD, etc. are engraved on the pole to watch over the safety of the village.
