★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は天日鷲命。江戸時代の創建で，明治6年に村社列格。県道279号羽鳥停車場江戸線沿い，新興住宅地の脇の空き地（ラーメンげんこつ屋の近くです）に新しげな鳥居を見つけ，たぶん祠を祀られているのかと鳥居の先へ進んでみたのですが，いやこれが長い。草むらの道が向こうの森の中に続いています。思ったより遠そうだとリトルカブで森の中へずんずん進む。300メートルほどでしょうか，鎮守の杜の中に広々とした境内に到着す。そこには近年造営されたと覚しき社殿が。神使は翼を広げた勇壮な鷲です。実は鷲の神使は初めて拝見しました。
天照大神が天岩戸に御隠れになった際，とある神が弦楽器を奏でると，弦の先に鷲が止まったことからこれを瑞兆とし，神の名を天日鷲命にされ，神使が鷲になったわけですね。
