吉	吉田博史 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一見の価値がある。トンネル脇にクルマを停めるスペースがあるので、そこにクルマを停め海岸に降りてみよう。津波岩もさることながら、北側の断崖の地層の露頭がすごい迫力。波による浸食が現在進行形で目撃できる。この辺りの基層は一億三千万年前、恐竜時代、白亜紀前期の火成岩（原地山層）で、その上に一億一千年前の堆積岩三層（宮古層群）が火成岩層と不整合で乗っているのだが、堆積岩層はかなり柔らかく今でも浸食崖崩れが進んでいるので落石には注意が必要。小石浜の上にある岩石は3.11の津波によって海底から打ち上げられたものである由。海底での生物痕跡をのこしていたりする。不思議なアート作品でもある。ハイぺと同じような地層の露頭のあるとされる少し南のコイコロベは陸から立ち入ることはできない。あまり良い画像ではないが沿岸道路から望遠でとってみたものを足しておく。 Worth a look. The rocks on Koishihama were launched from the seabed by the 3.11 tsunami. It leaves behind traces of living things on the seabed. It is also a mysterious work of art. Koikorobe, a little south of the outcrops of the strata similar to Heipe, cannot enter from the land. It's not a very good image, but I'll add a telephoto shot from the coastal road.
