n	nosk098 takemoto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 沖縄の越作という日本酒BARで頂きました。創業1765年、新潟の真ん中に位置する旧三島町にある蔵元だそうです。地酒は地元の米と水と、地元の蔵で造る酒の理念のもと長年地元に愛される。その酒の名前も地元の伝承によるところが多く、今回飲んだ『想天坊』は、地元の昔話に出る伝説の山に由来。「天」(天候)を「想」う「坊」(人)という意味であり、「蔵元の想い、天の恵み、の酒」であると命名されたそうな。もう一つの銘柄は『じゃんげ』「蛇が逃げると書いて、じゃんげ。蔵元の裏の西山山中には『蛇逃の滝』があり、地元の伝説に由来している」この滝は、高さ２０ｍ程で、あまりに水流が激しく、蛇も寄り逃げ出すほど、またこの滝の近くを住処にしていた大蛇が、黒猫と争い負けて逃げ出したとの逸話からこの名がついたという。想天坊の派生で辛口のシリーズ、蛇も逃げ出す程の辛さと土地の逸話に掛けて名付けられたそうです。『想天坊』も『じゃんげ』、地元ならでは名称で深い郷土愛がにじむ一献。水は蔵の背後に連なる西山山系の伏流水を仕込水に、米は地元の契約農家で栽培された「高嶺錦」でこだわった酒造りを続けいる。物語を聞いて、この辛口が益々好きになりました。 I had it at a sake bar called Otsusaku in Okinawa.
