★ ★ ★ ★ ★ バイパスは今でも有料で勝つ料金もやや高いので、トラックも未だに旧道を使うことが多いようです。
そんなに道幅は狭くはないけど、路肩がボコボコしていて走りにくい。
でも紅葉がとても綺麗でした。
Bypass is still somewhat expensive to win for a fee, so it seems that trucks still use old roads.
The road is not so narrow, but the shoulders are bumpy and difficult to run.
But the autumn leaves were very beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和40年代の和田峠は、舗装道ではなく“砂利道”でしたよ。
新和田トンネルが完成されてから、交通量も減り補修もままならなくなっているようですが、いつも節約を兼ねて懐かしく利用しています。
In the 1940s, the Wada Pass was not a paved road but a “gravel road”.
Since the new Wada tunnel has been completed, it seems that the traffic volume has been reduced and repairs have not been made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ トンネル内の舗装路面はデコボコがひどく、スピードダウンで走行して下さい。トンネル入口に信号機があり、交互に一方通行になります。下諏訪側から八島湿原、美ヶ原高原に向かう場合は、有料道路よりもこちらの峠道を使います。
The paved road surface in the tunnel is very uneven, so please drive at a slow speed. There is a traffic light at the entrance of the tunnel, which alternates as a one-way street. When heading from the Shimosuwa side to Yashima Marsh and Utsukushigahara Plateau, use this pass rather than the toll road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 有料トンネルをケチるトラックの運ちゃんが、ときおりとんでもない速度で通行するので、注意です。大型通行止めにすればいいのに。
Be aware that truck luck, who stingy through toll tunnels, sometimes passes at ridiculous speeds. I wish I had a large road closure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ このトンネルは片側交互通行になっていて、信号に従って走行するようになっていました。道幅も狭いのでくれぐれも速度を落として走行しましょう。
This tunnel had alternating traffic on one side and was supposed to follow the traffic lights. The road is narrow, so slow down and drive.

和田宿側は薄っすら雪化粧
この日は下諏訪側に雲が多く遠方の景色は望めませんでしたが、思いがけずいいものを拝見出来ました。
