★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a kimono rental place. Very friendly. Lovely kimonos for the whole family. Though they do not speak English at all, the whole fitting experience was very smooth. They also do the hair for the ladies and girls. We are ready for our tea ceremony! What a fun experience!!!

I decided to wear hakama for a whole day since my graduation ceremony is cancelled. The best point is that its cheaper than the other hakam rental places! Its only 18.900 (only booking) for a full hakama set. Best bargain for a hakama, I’d say.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our time in our kimonos. We wished we could've worn them for much longer ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to dress up to go to a Kabuki show and so I rented a kimono with VASARA. The website was able to give you a good idea on what they had available, but it's always better to see in store. I wasn't sure what to choose for the whole outfit beyond the main color to be 'green', but the many shop attendants there helped me coordinate the kimono, obi, and zori. I was happy that I was able to book such an early time since I wanted to wear the kimono all day. It is very worth it. I never realized that there were so many layers involved! The bonus was getting my hair done since I wasn't sure what to do for myself. Everyone was so lovely, pleasant, and helpful in making me comfortable with the many layers being tied not too tight. If I ever find another occasion to dress up, I'll make sure to come back. (Super filtered portrait photo, but it makes me look good. ?)
