★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 改札口は一つしかなくて、綺麗な駅です。向こうにfamily martコンビニもあって、優しい駅員います。映画村行くには最寄り駅です。
There is only one ticket gate and it is a beautiful station. There is a family mart convenience store over there, and there are friendly station staff. It is the nearest station to go to movie village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅内は狭いせいもあり、座るところはありません。また、屋根も省略されており長いホームの1/3程度で、雨や日射しはキツそうです。「うずまさ」と読むとは、驚きでした。
There is no place to sit because the inside of the station is small. Also, the roof is omitted, and it is about 1/3 of a long home. I was surprised to read "Uzumasa".

映画村までは歩道の無い狭い道を歩くことになりますが、だいたい歩いて7～10分ってところでしょうか。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山陰本線の各駅停車のみ止まる駅です。東映太秦映画村の最寄り駅となる。ただ、それよりも近隣住民の皆様の京都中心部への導線としての役割の方が多い印象である。京都駅から乗る時は、大抵がほぼ満席の状態であると感じる。嵯峨野･嵐山への観光、亀岡に向かい保津川下り、京都パープルサンガの試合観戦といった用途にも重要な役割を果たす路線です。そして、その先、天の橋立や丹後地方へ向かう路線でもあり、もっともっと使ってみたい路線の駅である。
It is a station that only stops at each station on the San-In Line. It will be the closest station to Toei Kyoto Studio Park. However, I have the impression that it has more of a role as a conductor to the center of Kyoto for the neighbors. When I get on from Kyoto Station, I usually feel that it is almost full. It is a route that plays an important role in applications such as sightseeing in Sagano and Arashiyama, going down the Hozu River toward Kameoka, and watching the game of Kyoto Purple Sanga. And beyond that, it is also a line that goes to Tennohashidate and the Tango region, and it is a station on the line that I want to use even more.
