★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 筑波山からは車でちょっとありますが、ドライブ気分で山頂から景色を眺めるのも良いと思います。離陸する方々を見ているのもまた、楽しいです。
It's a short drive from Mt. Tsukuba, but I think it's good to see the scenery from the top of the mountain as if you were driving. It's also fun to watch people take off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 八郷側からと真壁側からほぼ同じ距離でアクセスできるけど、道は真壁側の方が走りやすい。未舗装路なしで、LLサイズのミニバンでも問題なく登れたけど、県道7号から分岐した後の道は車のすれ違いがほぼできない道幅である。
離陸場の約300m前には未舗装の駐車場あり、トイレなし。
夜でも風がとても強い。星は筑波山のある程度の光害ガードのおかけて、この周辺にとしては綺麗な方。
それでも過度な期待は禁物である。
It can be accessed from the Yago side and Makabe side at almost the same distance, but the Makabe side is easier to run on the road. There was no unpaved road, and even LL size minivans could be climbed without problems, but the road after branching off from prefectural road 7 is a road that can hardly pass cars.
There is an unpaved parking lot about 300m in front of the takeoff and no toilet.
The wind is very strong at night. The stars are covered with a certain amount of light pollution guard on Mt. Tsukuba.
Still, excessive expectations are forbidden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ パラグライダーの離陸場としての評価はできないが、ここだけ左右の眺望が開けて、眺めがとても良い。ただし、狭い林道上にあり、駐車場もないので、景色を楽しむには周囲への配慮が必要。
Although it cannot be evaluated as a paraglider take-off area, the view on the left and right can be opened here, and the view is very good. However, because it is on a narrow forest road and there is no parking lot, it is necessary to consider the surroundings to enjoy the scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 誰が記したか知れないが、ここはパラグライダーではなく、ハンググライダーの離陸場で、東西の石岡市八郷側と桜川市真壁側の両側に開けているので、風向きによって飛行できる場所
眺望は、石岡市八郷側のCの字の山根盆地と、筑波山や足尾山西側の関東平野の双方が一望できる。
I don't know who wrote it, but this is not a paraglider, but a hang glider takeoff, and it is open on both sides of the east and west sides of Ishioka City Yasato and Sakuragawa City Makabe, so it is a place where you can fly depending on the wind direction.
The view can be seen from both the C-shaped Yamane basin on the Yasato side of Ishioka city and the Kanto plain on the west side of Mt. Tsukuba and Mt. Ashio.
