妙見というのは北斗七星、なので星神社なのか。
城の鬼門を守る位置とのこと、大事な役割を担っていたんですね。
境内には子安観音も、安産や幼児の安全を祈る菩薩様。
ご神木も勢いよく、のびのびとした田舎の風景に心休まるなと。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 臼井の史跡巡りで立ち寄らせて頂いた神社です。２年ぶりに参拝させて頂きました。道路側の石碑の後ろに彼岸花が咲いていたのたと子安様の社の後ろの御神木と思われる木は立派です。地域密着型の神社の様です。
It is a shrine that I stopped by to visit Usui's historic sites. I visited for the first time in two years. The cluster amaryllis was blooming behind the stone monument on the road side, and the tree that seems to be the sacred tree behind Koyasu-sama's shrine is magnificent. It's like a community-based shrine.

千葉氏一族であることが判ります。神楽殿？も歴史を感じます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雪国の人が聴くとキット怒ると思いますが、雪化粧した非日常の景色を目にすると何故か童心に帰りワクワクします。星神社は外城(臼井城西側の地区)に住む人々に代々大切に祀られてきました。手水舎に生けられた正月飾りに心温まります。
