★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川俣町は絹織物の産地ということもあってお土産売り場にはネクタイやハンカチなどの絹製品が多く並べられています。
また川俣町はシャモの産地として知られ“川俣シャモ”という名前で有名です。
訪れたときは川俣町とゆかりが深い「古関裕而」とNHK連続テレビ小説「エール」のパネル展が開催されていてました。
「エール」の見どころや古関裕而氏の生涯などを多く見ることができます。
高校野球の甲子園で流れる「栄冠は君に輝く」って曲は古関裕而氏が作曲したそうです。
テレビで良く聞きますよね！
みなさまも川俣町を訪れた際はぜひ「道の駅かわまた」にお立ち寄りになり、
絹の肌触りと川俣シャモの味を体感してみてはいかがでしょうか。
 Kawamata Town is a production center for silk fabrics, so many silk products such as neckties and handkerchiefs are lined up in the souvenir shop.
Kawamata Town is known as a production center for gamecocks and is famous for its name "Kawamata Shamo".
When I visited, a panel exhibition of "Yuji Koseki" and the NHK serial TV novel "Ale", which are closely related to Kawamata Town, was held.
You can see many highlights of "Ale" and the life of Mr. Yuji Koseki.
It is said that Yuji Koseki composed the song "The crown shines on you" that is played at Koshien in high school baseball.
You often hear it on TV!
When you visit Kawamata Town, be sure to stop by "Michi-no-Eki Kawamata".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 伺った時はトイレが改装中でしたが仮設トイレが多数あり大丈夫でした！産直館の方は棚卸しでお休みしてましたが本館の方は営業してました❗️川俣シャモの肉だんごを買って頂きましたが個人的にはめちゃくちゃハマり昼どきだったので持参した弁当のおかずになりました?その他の土産品なども良かったですねぇ(^_^)
When I visited, the toilet was under renovation, but there were many temporary toilets and it was okay! The person in the direct production building was absent from inventory, but the person in the main building was open. ❗️ I bought a meat dumpling from Kawamata Shamo, but personally I was so addicted to it that I brought a lunch box. It became a side dish ? Other souvenirs were also good (^_^)

川俣シャモの炙り親子丼1,300円おいしかったです。ゆで卵サービスなのも嬉しい！
Is the parking lot small?

スタンプは綺麗に押せます。
こじんまりしていますが綺麗な建物です。
シャモ推しの道の駅です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1994年4月に開駅し、今年で28周年を迎えた福島県内では、道の駅土湯に次ぐ歴史のある道の駅です。川俣町から浪江町へ抜ける国道114号を通る際に利用しています。ご当地ブランドの川俣シャモ料理が食べられるレストランと、明治、大正時代は世界的な生産地であったシルクの物産館等の施設が棟を並べています。最近、駐車場とトイレの改修工事が行われたばかりで綺麗になりました。ただし、駐車場の敷地は今となっては狭く、普通車で60台弱しか無いため、満車の場合、道の駅への駐車を諦め周辺のショッピングモールに行かざるをえなくなるため、何だかなあ！？と思う時があります。
In Fukushima Prefecture, which opened in April 1994 and celebrated its 28th anniversary this year, it is the second oldest roadside station after Tsuchiyu Roadside Station. It is used when passing through National Highway No. 114, which runs from Kawamata Town to Namie Town. There are restaurants where you can eat local brand Kawamata Shamo dishes, and facilities such as the silk product hall, which was a world-famous production area during the Meiji and Taisho eras. Recently, the parking lot and toilet have just been renovated and have become beautiful. However, the parking lot site is now small, and there are only a little less than 60 ordinary cars, so if it is full, you will have to give up parking at the roadside station and go to the surrounding shopping malls, so I wonder what it is. !! ?? There are times when I think.

幹線道路R114号にあり
待ち合わせでも使い易い。
農産物等地物産が豊富で
買い物客も多く人気あるね。
なので駐車場も混んでいる
事が多く落ち着かない道の駅。
一寸トイレの清潔感が無く
そこも残念だな。
休憩と言うより買い物の
道の駅なのかな。
