気比の海 国々の八景更に気比の月
元禄２年（１６８９）、奥の細道に旅で敦賀滞在中に詠まれた月の句の内の一つ。敦賀ロータリークラブが建立した碑。
同じ場所に建てられている副碑に詳しい解説がある。芭蕉は敦賀の月をみることを非常に楽しみにしていたが・・

コロナ対策でお話禁止なのにグループで話てる人はいて、注意されてました
ぎゅうぎゅうの客でコロナ感染の心配をかんじましたが
一ヶ月経って何もなかったので安心してます
