月ヶ瀬橋南詰ちょと府道を西に行った辺りに眼前の月ヶ瀬嵩方面へ登る細い階段上の歩道があります。(月ヶ瀬嵩へは桃香野方面から車で行く事も出来ます)ここを登りきって薬師寺の裏手辺りに緑の大木の下、道路に面し三分の一ほど土に埋まった状態でこの碑はあります。表面は保存状態は良くないですが、「雪の降る夜に鶯は　梅の花咲く夢を見る」　野口雨情とあります。冬の雪降る時、春を待つ鶯と梅、月ヶ瀬とは切っても切れない梅を絡めて、素人の私でも良い詩だなあと思う。やっぱ天才は違う！好く気を付けて見ないと埋まってる事もあり大木の基の単なる石と思って通り過ぎるかも。２０１２年の写真で、唯の大きな石と思って撮りましたので、今ストリート・ヴューで見ると、周りの土は掘ったかどうかはっきりしませんがこちらの方がはっきり見えるようです。
