★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 津堂城山古墳内にあるため、被葬者となんらかの関係のある神社と思われる。宮内庁によると第19代允恭天皇陵ではないかとされているが、
神社の御祭神は第15代応神天皇と稲倉魂命(ウガノミタマノミコト)ということだ。稲倉魂命は古事記によるとスサノオがクシナダヒメの次に娶ったカムオオイチヒメとの間の子で、名前の「ウカ」は穀物・食物の意味で、穀物の神である。性別が明確ではないが古くから女神とされてきた。伏見稲荷大社の主祭神であり稲荷神（お稲荷さん）として広く信仰されている。

津堂城山古墳も応神天皇と関係があるのかな？
とりあえず、梅がきれいに咲いていました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ １３３５年頃、松原の深居神社から分祀されたのが縁起のようです。
主祭神は品陀和気命（ほんたわけのみこと）＝応神天皇です。
元々の所在地は現在地でなかったのですが、１５７５年織田信長の河内攻めで三好氏の小山城落城と共に一度焼失せたのですが、１７２０年（享保５年）再建された際に今の此の場所、津堂城山古墳に遷座再建されました。
そして明治政府に依る神社合祀の勅命発布後１９１２年（明治４５年）廃止が決まり、廃神社の記憶的な石碑を古墳頂上にある石板を村人達が取り除いたところ……
大発見へと繋がったのでした！
