★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go to this place for breakfast! Of the dozens of bakeries I've been to in Japan, this is the best! It opens at 7am, and was recommended to me by the owner of the hostel where I stayed. I stocked up with many items to keep in my backpack as fuel for my one day ride on the Shimanami Kaido. Real quiche, a coconut bagel, something with green tea... it was all delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best bakery I've come across in Japan. The banana and custard croissant, banana and caramel croissant and curry pan donut are absolutely to die for! The staff don't speak English but I promise you, you'll love whatever you choose, even if you don't quite know what it is.

A note - the location is wrong on google maps. The bakery is on the main market walking street below, not on this outer road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in the early morning for breakfast. I didn't realize they specialise in bagels after I bought some croissants and buns. They look real good. But maybe next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing bagels - they look a bit unassuming, but the toppings are baked into the bagels themselves and are really good, try the smoked ham and cheese or the cream cheese and green soybean! Take out only but you can easily walk to the sea where there are a lot of benches. Wish I’d bought more bread!
