Family friendly. Great for the kids. Good opportunity to take fun silly photos with all the trick art paintings and props.

An reproduction of famous art works in an interesting 3D way, but it is a bit pricy. However, given that there were no free public toilet around, this is a place that you can access to the toilet with an added value of museum visit.

It was raining when we visited and we had an amazing time. The tricks are fun and it was great for the whole family. Even our dog enjoyed it!!! Great for both families and couples!

A lot of fun. The price is a bit expensive (1500yen), but considering that we spent over two hours here, it was worth it. It would be best with a medium-sized group, to get multiple combinations of silly photographs. I think children ages six and up would be able to enjoy this.

This place was really weird and FUN. The exhibit was larger than expected and almost each exhibit had a sample photo next to it so you would know how to pose. I think there should at least be 1-2 people with you otherwise you won’t really see the point since this is primarily a place to take silly photos.

We came here because of Terrace house! The date on the show was bad, and visiting here was just as bad... It is ‎¥‎1,500 per adult. There are 3 floors of rooms where you can take photos of illusions. Sometimes these are just paintings with angle tricks of your camera, other times there are props. Each station has a photo example or instructions on how to take the best photo. These were annoying because they were placed on the ground and hard to read. Usually the example photos were also not so great, but they have customer photos randomly placed in each room, these photos were better / more creative. Overall most of the 'tricks' were poorly done. I actually found parts of the museum about older illusion tricks that you've seen in books, far more interesting. They also explained how and why they worked. If you're in Karuizawa, you can skip this museum. Maybe its fun for kids? If its just adults, its a big skip.

I came across this place by chance, so had to explore. It is a place you need to be with friends to enter into the atmosphere. This place isn't just for family or kids, also friends and big kids as well as artists and art lovers. I like what they have tried to achieve with well known art. Be open minded and have fun. They have a small cafe and free WiFi.

Cute trick art museum , pet friendly. Nice 30 minute activity on Ginza street . You can store your luggage at the entrance at coin locker. Has a cute cafe , I recommend the pumpkin soup with plain waffles.
