Best Italian restaurant in japan

P	Peter D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food - young chef who knows what he is doing. Short menu which means it's all good. Very unusual wine list (all organic Italian wines). Excellent addition to Nozawa Onsen's dining repertoire.

B	Brendan Garland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service! The waitress was rude throughout the meal. When the check came, I was charged nearly twice the lisred price for my glasses of wine. The waitress explained the menu price was a "starting price" (apparently I was supposed to understand that the squiggly line that came after the price meant they could charge me whatever they pleased). Also, the "specialty hand drip" coffee tasted like cheap grocery store coffee.

Great wine list too. Highly recommend making reservations a few days before, especially for the weekends as it fills quickly!

M	Minami Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was amazing. I was surprised you can have this quality of Italian food in Nozawa. It's definitely pricey compared with the other options in Nozawa but it's worth to visit once during your stay. Nothing will make you disappointed.

It ruined the entire experience. This is a resort town and the food was no where near Michelin stars get a grip. It wasn't worth the money go somewhere else.

Started with the napa cabbage salad, then fried potatoes, homemade pasta in tomato sauce with burrata cheese and tiramisu to finish. Their homemade ciabatta was absolutely heavenly - I wish I could buy one to take home. Definitely recommend this place when you’re in Nozawa but don’t forget to make a reservation in advance!
