Well organised.
Rather a lot of queuing.
Price is very reasonable.
Access from Nagoya is not straightforward. We used a taxi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the best museums in Japan. You can see a lovely Daniel Buren work there. The building is brilliant. It is an uneasy way to get to there, but highly recommend if you like museums and architectures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A clean, beautiful museum, though a bit hard to access from station. The staffs were really nice but wish they had been more organized. Some visitors were misbehaving and rude to the others but no confrontation done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not so much a review as a reminder to myself never to come to an art exhibition on a weekend again. Queue for half an hour to get in, queue to see the exhibits. You can’t see the exhibits in your own time or at your own pace as the staff are herding you around like cattle. Absolutely the antithesis of what an art exhibition should be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the outdoor sculpture terrace and there's a lot inside but of variable interest for me.
We ate the "plat du jour" in the restaurant (¥1500 + tax) which was very good. There was an hors-d'œuvre and then I had fish "sawara" (鰆) or "Japanese Spanish mackerel" while my wife ordered pork. We shared and enjoyed both!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice location. We went on a sunny day, and enjoyed the surroundings of the building before eating at the restaurant on-site. It's on a hill, so you're able to see the surrounding area well. It was very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum always has interesting exhibitions. I went to see a contemporary art exhibition and the Ghibli exhibition before with my family.
The building itself is as beautiful as a work of art, so it's fun just to walk around.
It is a bit far from Nagoya, but I would like to visit this museum regularly.
