森	森昭二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名前の通り蚕業を中心に豊田市の近代産業を紹介した施設です。かつて愛知県は全国屈指の蚕産県であり、この地域でも蚕産業が非常に盛んだったのですね。知りませんでした。実際こちらの建物もかつては愛知県蚕業取締所第九支所でした。そんな訳でこちらでは実際、蚕も飼育されています。間近で見ることもできますが、昆虫が苦手という人は論外でしょうね(笑)。第１展示室ではその他の産業についての展示がなされていましたが、それによると、かつてこちらには飛行場があり、町有飛行機「挙母号」もあったそうです。これまた驚きです。こういう先見性というか新進気鋭の精神が後のトヨタ自動車誘致に繋がっていったのかもしれませんね。 As it is named, it is a facility that introduced the modern industry of Toyota City centering on the ceramics industry. D	Dian Nusantari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place for history lovers. This museum covered Toyota City history since it was known as Koromo City. Most of the displays were photos and artifacts. The video/movie was at most 15 minutes, all in Japanese. There were special exhibits and in December 2017 it was about Toyota city in the Showa period. The museum also have craft days. This museum is free of charge.
H	Hunter Wardman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum was really nice. It's small and only mostly in Japanese, however the staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly, and speak English. They gave good recommendations for what else to do in Toyota. The museum has live silk worms which would be great for kids to see, and it is interactive: they have cotton looms to DIY spin cotton.
