★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ヒメマスはとても美味しい魚なんだなぁと感じました。
香りが良く、きめが細かく刺身は舌触り良く、塩焼きは香ばしさが際立ち、甘露煮は甘過ぎず、塩辛過ぎず素材を生かしていて、美味しかったです。
 I felt that Kokanee is a very delicious fish.
The aroma was good, the texture was fine and the sashimi was soft to the touch, the salt-grilled fish had a pronounced aroma, and the Kanro-ni was not too sweet and not too salty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昨年の１０月中旬にヒメマスを購入の為に十和田湖養殖場に行きましたが改築の為休業期間だったので、食堂で食べる事にしました。
お薦めを聞いたらヒメマス定食との事、注文しましたが２４００円との事でびっくり、1200円が良いとこ、そんなに美味いものでは有りません。
コロナ禍で観光客もまばら、観光地に寄附した積りでしょうがないか。
I went to Lake Towada farm to buy Kokanee in mid-October last year, but it was closed due to renovation, so I decided to eat at the cafeteria.
When I heard the recommendation, I ordered a Kokanee set meal, but I was surprised that it was 2400 yen, and 1200 yen is good, so it is not so delicious.
Tourists are sparse due to the corona, and it may be a pile of donations to tourist spots.

自分で焼くスタイルの十和田バラ焼きがいただけます。十和田湖のヒメマスも名物で、お刺身でいただけるのは地元ならでは。
A cafeteria and souvenir shop right next to the toll parking lot. There are several parking spaces dedicated to this store.
You can enjoy Towada roasting in a style that you bake yourself. Kokanee from Lake Towada is also a specialty, and you can enjoy sashimi only locally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had Kiri Tampo, a local Tohoku dish and it was good. I also had a local beer, Oirase. I agree with the other reviews that the prices were high but what the heck, it's a tourist spot.
