★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch at a great price! Hamburg steak is amazing, but also really good pizza and dessert as well! The tomato salad that comes with the lunch set is so good I'd pay extra for. Just keep in mind that there's usually a line of an hour or more. If you can, make a reservation first!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for Japanese style western foods, this is definitely the place you are looking for. There is also branch is other parts of Kyoto and Osaka but since you are here why not try out the original shop ( they have special menu limited only to the original shop ). I highly recommend to order at least 1 set of the tomato salad and hamburger steak. The hamburger is juice explosion and the sauce is just amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious course meal for dinner for ¥2600. The only bad thing is that I overate, but everything I had was absolutely scrumptious. First, I started with the Niçoise salad which was delectable. Then, I had the salmon which was a bit sweet, but extremely tasty. And finally, I had a small slice of chocolate cake which was absolutely amazing, paired with chamomile tea! Also, the service was absolutely amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurants I've been to in Kyoto. Ate my lunch here on my birthday. It did not disappoint. I will surely come back to try other menu. If you will come here, best if you check if they accept reservations because there is a long line of customers waiting outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Mont Blanc, with a thick layer of marron (chestnut). We specifically go there routinely just to get it as takeaway. They place a thick layer of chestnut and this makes it the most fabulous compared to others. The restaurant is over 120 years old so of course it is perfection. Their Hamburg steak with baked potato is well known in town.
