There is a sand dune shop where you can wash your feet in the Sand Dune Information Office. Parking is chargeable. Access the souvenir shop building parking lot across from the information desk. It is free. Free boots can be rented at souvenir shops across the Information Center.
M	Masayuki Kondo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鳥取砂丘が一望できます。レストハウスの“砂丘センター見晴らしの丘”があって、お土産がたくさんあります。勾玉や砂丘の砂を使った砂時計もありました。らくだのキーホルダーに、ネーム入りのものも売っています。お食事コーナーもあり、蟹料理なども味わえます。鳥取砂丘からは、リフトで登ってこれます。駐車場は無料で、ここを起点に“砂の美術館”や“鳥取砂丘”など巡るのも良いかもです。トイレも清潔で、温水便座です。路線バスが通っていますね❗️ Overlooking Tottori Sand Dunes. We attended when they had sculptures of famous historical figures: Ghandi (at the exhibit entrance), Buddha (lying down and being comforted by monks before his death), great kings, religion, etc... If you go upstairs you'll see an exhibit of photos showing the sculptures theme of previous years. Really cool. The theme changes each year.
w	wong siu lai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ amazing place like a desert, walk to top of the sand montain you can see the beautiful japan sea, and there have the free rain boot for you to use, and you can use the fee of 100 yen locker to put down your belongings.
m	mac klemore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the observatory is okay. there are some good views but its broken up by the chairlift. better to view the dunes from the dunes themselves. whats nice is theres a little restaurant that serves good food. the katsudon is particularly tasty. they also have lots of omiyage with tasting samples which is pretty rare! and the souvenirs are cute.
