★ ★ ★ ★ ★ マップ上のらくだやはお土産やさんなので、砂丘に向かって下さい。らくだに乗る前は３～４分ですよと念を押されます（１５００円と結構お高いのでクレームになることもあるのでしょう）らくだの背中から見る砂丘は眺めも良くいい感じです。らくだが微動だにせずちょっと面白いです。
The camels on the map are souvenirs, so head to the dunes. I'm reminded that it's 3-4 minutes before getting on the camel (it's quite expensive at 1500 yen, so it may be a complaint). The sand dunes seen from the back of the camel have a nice view. The camel is a little interesting without making a slight movement.

今日はね、鳥取砂丘にやって来ました。
暑い！……ソフトクリームが溶ける！
こちらのお土産物屋さんにも梨は早いので、まだ出ていませんが途中の道の駅にはハウス物が出ていて甘かったです。
お土産物屋さんの屋上の内側の階段からは鳥取砂丘を一望が出来て良い感じです。

Today, I came to Tottori Sand Dunes.
hot! ...... Soft serve ice cream melts!
The pears are early at this souvenir shop, so I haven't seen them yet, but at the roadside station on the way, there were house items and it was sweet.
From the stairs inside the roof of the souvenir shop, you can get a panoramic view of the Tottori Sand Dunes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price is outrageous (¥1500 for one lap around the course-2 or 3 minutes) but hey, when are you ever going to ride a camel again? If your answer is “often” then skip this. If not, then what the heck, I don’t regret having spent 15 bucks to say I’ve ridden a camel in Japan! You can also pay just to take a photo with the animals. If you pay for the ride, the picture comes free with your ride.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The camel ride is about 1 min and they just walk you around in a circle and tell you some random facts - at a a very overpriced rate.
2600 yen for 2 people, 1500 for 1 person.
They also provide a free picture service if you have small children - but don’t expect anything. You get a tiny picture about 10cmx10cm.
It’s a fun (?) experience but definitely not worth it.
