★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土宗の仏教寺院。山号は不老山、院号は寿松院、寺号は無量寺。浄土宗京都知恩院の末寺。本尊は阿弥陀如来。開山は貞把の弟子の林貞。
もとは神奈川県小田原にあったそうですが、1590年（天正18年）に、林貞が徳川家康の帰依を受けて江戸に移転。1594年（文禄3年）、小田原寿松院住職の善誉上人が、鍛冶橋御門に寺地を拝領してに創建。1603年（慶長8年）には柳原雁淵（やなぎわらかりぶち・現千代田区岩本町）に、さらに1669年（寛文9年）に現在地へ移転したといいます。元禄年中には10ヶ寺の塔頭、宗林寺（現愛知県一宮市）等の末寺を擁していたそうです。
A Buddhist temple of the Jodo sect. The mountain name is Furosan, the institute name is Kotobukimatsuin, and the temple name is Mugenji. The end temple of the Jodo sect Kyoto Chion-in. The principal image is Amida Nyorai. Kaisan is Sada Hayashi, a disciple of Sada.
It was originally located in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, but in 1590 (Tensho 18), Hayashi Hidesada moved to Edo following the devotion of Ieyasu Tokugawa. It was built in 1594 (3rd year of Bunroku) by the chief priest of Odawara Toshimatsuin, who worshiped the temple grounds at Kajibashi Gomon. It is said that it moved to Yanagihara Karibuchi (currently Iwamotocho, Chiyoda-ku) in 1603 (Keicho 8th year) and to the present location in 1669 (Kanbun 9th year). During the Genroku era, it was said that it had the towers of 10 temples and the end temples such as Sorinji (currently Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture).
