★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天文12年（1543）支倉紀伊常正が上楯城主となる。大手門から直進して300mで三の丸、その東南部を回ると一段と高いところが館山の頂上で、平坦地約2haが本丸跡で竹林と杉林に覆われています。西部の空壕を越えると二の丸、その壕の延長部分 の北部が巨大な壕となって本丸の背後を画し、外部との接触を絶っています。三の丸の右側が曲輪、つづいて馬場へと連なり、館山一山を城砦とした壮大な連廓 式山城で、曲輪の真下が円福寺という形状を示しています。現在は公園として整備され、周辺の散策ができるようになりました。
In the 12th year of Astronomy (1543), Kii Tsunemasa Hasekura became the lord of the castle. Go straight from Otemon and go straight to Sannomaru at 300m, and if you go around the southeastern part of it, the higher point is the summit of Tateyama, and about 2ha of flat land is covered with bamboo grove and cedar forest at the remains of Honmaru. When you cross the empty moat in the west, Ninomaru, and the northern part of the extension of the moat becomes a huge moat, which draws behind the main enclosure and cuts off contact with the outside. The right side of the Sannomaru is a Kuruwa, followed by a Baba, and it is a magnificent mountain castle with Tateyama Ichiyama as a fort. The shape of Enfukuji is just below the Kuruwa. It is now maintained as a park, and you can take a walk around it.
