S	Sam Look on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the "One and Only" lager, brewed onsite, we also ordered the fish and chips and some spicey chicken. Everything was delicious!!!

Bay windows on the front, windows showing the brewery in the back, recycled wood, space, soft background music. There's even a small terrace. Homebrews are quite good, showing balance in taste and bitterness. So, overall a good place to go, but two things could be improved. One is, the homebrews are expensive. Even in the middle of Tokyo, beer bars sell their homebrews and some local crafts for about 800 yen a pint, here is 900, not matching the difference in cost of living and revenue. The second is the food served. It's again expensive and comparable to prices in the middle of Tokyo, but the quality and quantity disappoint. For example, the sauerkraut is a too sweet and at the same time too acid failed attempt at pickling a ridiculously small amount of cabbage. Hands down the best place in Tono for enjoying good beer, meeting friends, socializing, with the potential to become even better. For now, drink there, eat elsewhere.
T	Tak D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tono Brewery遠野醸造 is a different brand than Zomona Beer遠野麦酒 but both have a joint CB product. Five own CBs served here aren't found anywhere else, though they're planning canned products. Creative foods are cooked just over the counter stools. They do care about hop ingredients, using both local and imported. American Red Ale is tasty.
S	Sam DeHaan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome family-owned brewery in Tono. They serve craft beers locally made in the area using excellent hops. They also serve light food options. Seating is limited, but plenty enough for a group of friends. The owner is extremely friendly and is always willing to give a tour of the brewery. Will absolutely come back!

They have beer from other micro breweries as well as their own on the taps. The food was excellent. Tono is a bit off the beaten track but this is well worth the trip for a beer and a bite here. They speak English too.

R	Richard Cho on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little micro brewery located not too far from the station. They have a few of their own beers on tap and also some beers from other breweries like Zomona. Since it is a microbrewery, expect the prices to be higher than what you are used to paying for e.g. Kirin or Asahi. They have a light food menu as well although I thought some options were a little pricey.
