A	Anna Boyd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son attended this school in 2016 for a few months. His teacher was great but the standards he was held to were impossible. My son can be very hyper and the school didn't know how to handle it. There response was to take away his recess and give him detention without notifying parents!! This happened numerous times. Other parents (American parents) had the same thing happen on several occasions.
M	M Masa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really appreciate Tokyo West International school because my child has had special experience there for 13 years from 2 years old in kindergarden to Junior High School, becoming creative and bilingual. Of course there were many types of teachers and parents who were great and not so. But overall, Very satisfied with it. Most important thing is if a child would feel happy. My kid felt so much good about friends, teachers anf the school itself. Indeed, She still miss it. Many thanks for Tokyo West International school. Not expensive compared with other International schools. Recommend the school more than 100 %.

I would like to say that Tokyo West International School's leadership, especially their headmistress Yukiko is unorganised, without sufficient credentials and has no respect towards parents and teachers. School leadership tries to implement IB program without deeper knowledge and understanding. Furthermore, the facilities are inadequate for a proper international learning environment. To PARENTS who are thinking about enrolling their child here: Think it through. Administration is disorganised and will send you confusing information and even possibly lie to you. This shows the lack of experience the school sdministration has. To TEACHERS who are thinking about applying to this school: Think again. You will most likely encounter lack of communication, lack of positive leadership and most importantly lack of respect. You will most likely be underpaid. The only positive thing I can say about the school is its students who deserve better.
D	D. Hall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our daughter enjoyed going to this school for several years. The teachers were very nice and friendly, and she had an amazing time with her friends. The Headmistress, Ms. Kawasaki and her accounting department are another story. We caught them trying to charge us DOUBLE tuition for a summer program that was advertised as free. They then changed the terms of the program and tried to charge us a full month's tuition for just a handful of half-days that our child would have attended (on top of the normal monthly tuition). Ms. Kawasaki did not take any responsibility and never answered a single question as to why they were now charging us another full-month's tuition. She was absolutely clueless and refused to assist us in any way. We called them out on their greedy attempt to trick us into paying more money, so now they will get NO money from us. Do not send your child to this school unless Ms. Kawasaki has been removed from her position. They take advantage of foreign parents, and made it very clear that they only care about your money, not your child's education.
J	Jennifer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter has been at this school for 3 going on 4 years and we are happy with the education she has received. The teachers are amazing. We've made lifelong friends with the other students and parents. The tuition is reasonable for the area, along with bus transportation, and lunch provided by an on site chef. I'm thankful that this school is working on IB accreditation because my daughter's transition to other International Baccalaureate schools around the world will be easy. The building is older and is not handicap accessible, but there is a parking lot for 20 cars on site.
