Well worth the time and money! We had a day to kill with kids and what a fun way to do it! The art work was amazing. What has let us down was the photos here. We needed to be in a better angle to get even better photos. Kids had a wonderful time posing and then checking out how it looked. Take your time and make sure you have the best position before you click. The museum is not very big so expect to spend about 40-60 minutes.

This is pretty neat place worth visiting, especially if you like taking fun pictures. We came with 3 small children because we thought it would be something we could all enjoy together. Unfortunately the kids had a really hard time understanding how to pose correctly to make the illusions work, and without being able to see the effect as they posed they became bored. However, I imagine this place would be really cool for older kids and adults without children. It just wasn’t right for us.

This museum is like old wine . Make sure your friend can take good pictures and get ready to stretch yourself to get good pictures.

This place is super fantastic!!! The art is so amazing it will completely blow your mind. The second exhibit will lead you into a web weaved of wonderful eye trickery and confusion. I have never seen such incredible mind altering images that will fascinate you for a long time. I recommend this place for all ages.

The Tokyo Trick Art Museum is a delightful venue to take entertaining and arresting trompe l'oeil photographs. It is not possible without a companion. The artworks' special effects are very skilled. I wish we had institutions like this in the US. There is also a Trick Art Museum near Mount Takao. I have not visited yet but plan to very soon. They admit parties with time between them to keep the displays from being too crowded for good photo environment.

Great place to spend an hour to take in all the amazing art pieces. Everything is incredibly detailed and I enjoyed taking photos with the various exhibits. The only problem was the crowds. I didn't want to hold up the crowds behind me to take photos so I skipped posing with a fair number of pieces but I enjoyed the piece with the shark, and the vampire. You must experience it at least once if you haven't gone to a Trick Art Museum in other cities around the world. It was fun.

It’s a cute little museum where the art can trick your mind into believing something is happening in 3D but they are all 2D and cannot be touch. For example, the chair I was sitting on doesn’t exist, it’s just a painting, so I needed to squat to take that picture. Judging by some of the art coming from old school visual illusion, they got the idea from those tricks but expand it into a Japanese alleyway and traditional marketplace painting.

Different type of enjoyment place. My kids enjoyed the trick of art. It’s not free. Ticket adult 1000¥ and kids 700¥. 0-4 years free.
