建物は大変美しいです。
千円で台湾式の線香を買ってお参りすれば運気間違い無し。
分からない事は職員さんに気軽に聞いてみましょう。日本語でとても丁寧に教えてくれます。
 This is the only place in Taiwan.
The building is very beautiful.
If you buy a Taiwanese-style incense stick for 1,000 yen, you will be lucky.
Feel free to ask the staff what you don't understand. He teaches me in Japanese very carefully.

道教系の寺院で海洋に関する神（天妃娘娘、天上聖母、媽祖菩薩などと呼び名が変わる）が祀られている。
この寺院に近づくと、何処となくて東アジアや東南アジアの雰囲気を感じる事ができます。
Tokyo Matsu Temple
A Taoist temple enshrines a god related to the ocean (name changed to Nyan Nyan Ageo, Our Lady of Heaven, Mazu Bodhisattva, etc.).
When you approach this temple, you can feel the atmosphere of East Asia and Southeast Asia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 台湾旅行に行くのでお参りしてきました。
お線香7本持ってそれぞれの神様にお供えします。代金はと聞いたら、有料のもあるけど、無料のものを勧めてくださったので、4階まで各階、お賽銭を入れてその代わりにしました。
階段は短いので苦ではないです。2階の関帝殿に祀った際、カタカタと風が音を立てたので何か粗相をしたのだろうか…と心配になりました。
お庭が明るく、水の音が気持ちよかったです。また立ち寄りたいと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 個人的には特別な信仰は持ち合わせていませんが、台灣にいく都度、媽祖廟にお参りしています。
新宿にもこんな立派な媽祖廟が出来たので嬉しい限りです。
関東近郊だと、坂戸の聖天宮、横浜の媽祖廟、小岩の朝天宮が有名な媽祖廟ですが、これらすべてにお参りすることが出来ました。
東京媽祖廟は４階建で、２階は関帝、３階が媽祖、４階が観音とそれぞれ階ごとに祀られている神様が異なります。
新宿にして台灣の雰囲気が味わえるので、近くにお寄りの際は是非お参りしてみて下さい！

I am glad that such a magnificent Mazu Mausoleum was built in Shinjuku.
In the Kanto area, the Seitenkyu Temple in Sakado, the Masobyo Temple in Yokohama, and the Asatengu Temple in Koiwa are famous, but I was able to visit all of them.
Tokyo Matsu Temple has 4 floors, the 2nd floor is the Statue of Guan Yu, the 3rd floor is Mazu, and the 4th floor is Kannon.
You can enjoy the atmosphere of Taiwan in Shinjuku, so please come visit us when you come near!

4階まであって、一階一階ずつお参りしてきます。
何人か台湾人を見かけました。
新年には特別な神様にお参りできるようでした。
