Good fun for the kids. The baths are fine and there is a kareoke place, eating areas, and a jumping room for the kids. An arcade too but we usually avoid those. My kids had a great time. There's also places you can rent to stay overnight (never tried it though). It was under new management since the last time we went and it seems a bit better.

Great place for an authentic Japanese Spa experience. The baths are gender segregated. As someone who only had been to the men's side, I describe my experience below. They have a room that reaches 100C and a variety of baths that are at different temperatures. One bath is super cold, one is just a little warm or neutral, two baths are outside, one bath has special mineral stuff in it, and the other two baths are pretty hot. The key to your shoe box becomes you ID for you entire visit (they key has a bar code and bracelet). So if you buy food or drinks, they just scan your key and you pay upon finishing. You can also take the key with you into the baths. The expectation is that you shower before entering the baths. They have lots of setting showers so this expectation is not a problem. Also, if you enter the 100C room, the expectation is that you rinse at a shower before entering one of the baths again. You will also be provided a big towel for drying yourself, a little towel for covering the private areas (it's optional, most people don't cover), and a change of pajama like clothing that you can wear around outside the bath area (i.e. wear it when getting food). You cannot have tattoos. I believe that tattoos are associated with gangs in Japan so it seems like most places do not allow them. But you might be able to get by if you find a sticker or bandage to cover them. Also a cultural note: children of the opposite gender are allowed in the baths up until a certain age. I am not sure where the cutoff is. Additionally, they may have female staff members working near the males baths.

I used to like this place.especially the room which you can watch movie and relax at the same time. Well, my husband and son are waiting for me coz im still inside the ofuro. The staff said they cant go anywhere bcoz they have changed the clothes already. They still have the keys/tag on where they can used it. Why o why they are prohibited to move? It is really annoying and very frustrating ! Used to be relaxing but now it changed a lot.
