Kids enjoyed it, almost nothing to do for adults than looking after your kids even though adults pay entrance fee, better to leave kids to play and enjoy other museums and attractions.

Sega Joypolis is a very small amusement park inside a mall. Expect to spend less than 2 hours here. I would only recommend it as a side trip out of curiosity and not worth a day trip. This little park is geared towards dating and couples, not for friends or groups, which I think messes it up a lot. As I went with my wife, I knew what to expect. About the rides and what is inside. They are small rides and nothing huge. "Fun" here is what you make of it. I had a blast, because I wanted to have a blast and didn't expect a 5 star Disney land. Don't go in disappointing yourself for no reason. The transformers ride and the zombie shooting game is fun, most of the rides are motion, so if you get motion sick easily, this park isn't for you. I didn't last very long myself. They are old rides, but were innovating back in the day. But other rides are just simple, you sit in a seat and there is a screen in front of you, that sums up 75% of the rides. The staff are good, they do their best to get into the role, I don't know what people can say it was slow or bad, busy is busy, I went on an off day, be smart. Food is terrible, but what do you expect? Eat at the restaurants nearby the malls.

Would recommend buying individual attraction tickets vice the pass. I spent hours in line and was only able to make it to 3 attractions.

This place was amazing. I was traveling alone so I was hesitant to go by myself. But I'm glad that I did go because it was so much fun. The rides were interactive and something you should definitly experience. I recommend getting the Night pass because you'll still be able to do all the rides in the given time. But even if you do pay more for the day pass I think you still get your moneys worth. They do have some crane games to play and a lot of gachapon machines as well. I definitly recommend coming here wither you're by yourself or with friends or family.

Such a fun experience! If you’re visiting Tokyo for a few days and you love Sega video games, it is worth visiting this indoor amusement park. Going early is best as queues will be shorter. My favourite rides were the Tower-Tag VR e sports and the Halfpipe Tokyo. I wanted to try the Storm G but we ran out of time. A lot of the rides can cause motion/video sickness to those susceptible.

楽しかった Joypolis (Japanese: ジョイポリス, Hepburn: Joiporisu) is a chain of indoor amusement parks created by Sega and ran by CA Sega Joypolis. Beginning on July 20, 1994 with the original location sited in Yokohama, Japan,[1] Joypolis centers have since opened in several cities in Japan and later China. The parks feature arcade games and amusement rides based on Sega's intellectual properties, original themes, and licensed franchises. Alongside the predecessor Galbo venues and the overseas spin-offs SegaWorld London and Sega World Sydney, they were officially referred to under the "Amusement Theme Park" or "ATP" concept by Sega in the 1990s.[2] Overall, eleven Joypolis theme parks have been opened, but as of 2021, three parks remain operational; one in Japan (Tokyo) and two in China (Qingdao and Shanghai); the failure of many of the parks has largely been attributed to poor visitor numbers, managerial problems, and cost-cutting measures, with the closures and downsizing of several occurring in the midst of Sega's companywide losses during the early 2000s.

Indoor interactive play enter. Lots of arcade games as well. Great experience for older kids, but a one time thing for me. Highly recommend the all day pass unless there are only certain rides you want to ride. The VR experience is an additional fee and the food choices inside are limited.
