 It was a very old torii gate. There was a turtle in a nearby tree.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こちらは二の鳥居となり、両側の杉並木が非常に見応えのある表参道です。古くは徳川家康が当地に鷹狩りに来た際の宿泊施設「東金御殿」のあった八鶴湖湖畔に一の鳥居があります。
This is the second torii gate, and the rows of cedar trees on both sides are very spectacular. There used to be a torii on the shore of Lake Yakuru, where there was an accommodation facility, Togane Goten, when Ieyasu Tokugawa came here to falcon.
