★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この保育園があるトミーハイツの南東角には、高さが4メートルほどのビワの木があって、毎年春が終わる頃には黄色い実をつけていた。普通、ビワの実は初夏の頃に成るものだけど、この木は不思議と早く実が成っていた。
2019年の梅雨、突如としてこの木は切り倒されてしまった。どうやら保育園のテラスを増設するらしく、さっそく工事が始まり、やがて夏が訪れる頃にはきれいなテラスができあがった。そして子供用のプールには水が張られたらしく子供達が楽しく水遊びしている声が聞こえるようになった。
あのビワの木もきっと、子供達の声を楽しそうに聞いてくれているんだろう。
At the southeastern corner of Tommy Heights, where this nursery is located, there was a loquat tree about 4 meters high that had yellow fruits by the end of spring each year. Usually, loquat fruits are grown in early summer, but this tree was mysteriously fast.
In the rainy season in 2019, this tree was cut down suddenly. Apparently it seems that we will add a terrace for the nursery school, and the construction started immediately, and by the end of summer, a beautiful terrace was completed. And it seemed that the children's pool was filled with water, and I could hear the children playing in the water.
That loquat tree is surely listening to the children's voices in a fun way.
