★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 坂本駅から中浜小学校に向かって歩いて行くと現れる黄色いハンカチが目印です。震災遺構中浜小学校の見学と併せて、手を合わせてきました。
震災前、この付近には約300戸の家があったそうです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 相馬から角田方面へ進もうとおもいR6を北上していたら、目の前に「やまもと夢いちご郷」を発見し右折したら、中浜小学校（震災）の見学が出来る事をみつけ予定を変更し見学、その後にこの千年塔（震災で亡くなられた方の碑）を見学。このエリアで亡くなられた方が300人以上、山元町で亡くなられた方が1000人以上で30％以上の方がこのエリアで亡くなられたと説明を受けた。この場所には先祖を敬う墓石等があったが津波により流され道路や住宅地、コンクリート等で無かった事にならないように碑を建てられたと説明を受けました。事実の伝え方残し方に感銘を受けました。

After that, we visited the Millennium Tower (a monument to those who died in the earthquake). It was explained that more than 300 people died in this area, more than 1000 people died in Yamamoto-cho, and more than 30% died in this area. It was explained that there were tombstones that honored their ancestors in this place, but a monument was erected so that they would not be washed away by the tsunami and were not found in roads, residential areas, concrete, etc. I was impressed with how to tell the facts and how to leave them.
