★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super little Irish bar beside Ueno station. Get there for happy hour for 880 yen pints. Usually 980 I think. Great atmosphere and really nice staff.

It's seriously expensive though and the staff are not all that friendly - the table service was a bit strange and after we'd not ordered more drinks for about 15mins the staff came and slapped the bill on the table as though to say "if you're not going to order more, get out"... A little bit of a let down there. Think the owner needs to visit an actual Irish bar, as the only thing Irish in there is the Guinness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Irish pub in Japan, as far as I know today. Not only Guiness but also Kilkenny is served in the special tap and strictly. U can also enjoy Japanese and American CBs. Female main staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Very close to Ueno terminal. Enjoy happy hours!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of world beers, but as you would imagine in Tokyo, it’s a tight squeeze. Good for meeting a friend or two, but don’t show up with a group of 4 or more. Non smoking, smokers need to go outside and across the street. One toilet all the way in the back, up a flight of stairs.
