★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The journey from Ginza to Yamashiroya was pure torture! (Stroller+kids+lots and lots of stairs) but the selection here was definitely more local than Toys R Us! Friendly salespeople but space was a bit tight as it is in Japan. The anpaman vendo machine we bought turned out to be more expensive than in Yodabashi in Shinjuku. Still it was worth checking out for the unique toys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots and lots of toys. Some of the floors are very noisy. Made me feel old. Had some American stuff too like Rick and Morty goods. Had a nice selection of mechanical puzzles. My pictures may not be up to date when you're reading this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store did not disappoint! It has something for everyone: gunpla, marvel, star wars, godzilla, tomica, harry potter, godzilla, anime, studio ghibli, the list goes on. Most of the new stuff will be here, so don't expect vintage toys or even early 2000's toys. I had a great time exploring this place and would gladly go back given the chance ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is YOUR TOY STORE, I think I counted 7 levels in here so we spent an hour or so as each level offers a different spectrum of toys. Even adults were here to buy toys for themselves.
Even had there own “Marvel Pop Up Level”.
If you need to look for a toy gift, prices are ok so you should stop here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Multi level toy store next to Ueno station. No restrooms. Elevator outside- just before the entrance. Opened at 10am on Sunday when we were there. Lots of toys including Disney, Marvel, Power Rangers and Kirby. Not as big a range of lego as I had expected. They have some great puzzles and a big range of Super Mario stuff. Fun to look through, but aisles are quite narrow and it can get very crowded. On one level the constant noise drive me crazy, but it was easy enough to escape it by going to another level. My advice- get there early- like when it opens!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best toy stores I have been to. With tons of toys to choose from and multiple floors to go to, this toy store is a must-go-to destination if you’re into toys and you’re in Tokyo. Just across the street from Ueno subway station, it’s very accessible.
