Staff is friendly and speaks good English. Variety of coffee beans is available for purchase and they also offer grinding service as well. Would definitely be back again!

If the rest of their single origin roasts are as good as the Costa Rican HARMONY and LA MESA, I think I might have found the best roaster in Japan. I went in thinking it would be a regular hipster type café where they make a mediocre cup of coffee and charge an arm and a leg for the Instagrammability - boy, was I wrong. Instead, I had the single best cup of coffee of my life. The Costa Rica HARMONY americano was a gentle and sweet cup of coffee with rich notes of red apple, brown sugar, and syrup, which was exactly as advertised. One of the biggest positives at The Roastery, is the simple concept: 2 different bean options per day, in espresso, americano, or latte (hand brew available as well though). They write up the main tasting and aroma notes on a board and you're free to choose. Prices change according to beans. Their concept means that you get good coffee, not whatever is trending on Instagram. This is great coffee, plain and simple. They also offer speciality soft serve and occasional goods from other local shops, such as delicious donuts. A special mention must be made of their baristas, who are knowledgeable and willing to give you the best experience. Ask for guidance and you shall receive. I am impressed by their abilities. The americanos I tried were clean and perfectly balanced between espresso and water. My review score is therefore half because of the beans and half because of the coffee. Bravo.

I was able to work since it’s also a quiet place. Sitting tables indoor and outdoors They have some winner beans from cup of excellence ????

Located at Cat Street in Shibuya, this coffee shop is highly recommended! This cafe owns an in-house roaster, hence the name. They offer indoor and outdoor seating with fans to provide a welcome respite from the summer heat. The wooden knee-high seats and tables give a cozy, relaxing look to the place. As you enter the cafe, you are greeted by their welcoming and friendly barista ready to take your orders. For today’s visit, the bean selections were Costa Rica La Mesa and Guatemala Rosma. I went for Costa Rica La Mesa cafe latte and ordered a banana cake to go along with it. This coffee was absolutely delicious! It had the right balance of bitterness that’s perfect for my palate! Not to be outshined, the banana cake proved to be an excellent choice as well - it was moist and sweet! Though a bit pricey, their coffee and baked treats are worth it! Coupled with a pleasant atmosphere, this cafe offers a great experience for anyone with a hankering for a lazy afternoon coffee. When you do get to visit, I hope you'll have an even more awesome experience than I did. Blessings! ?
