★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 相楽園の中にあります。通常公開はされていませんので、中を見学したい方は特別公開日を相楽園ホームページなどでチェックしてから行かれることをおすすめします。特別公開日のみですが、北野の他の異人館に比べると人が少ないのでゆっくり過ごせます。相楽園の日本庭園とのギャップを楽しめるのも良いと思います。
It is in Sorakuen Garden. It is not normally open to the public, so if you want to see the inside, we recommend that you check the special release date on the Sorakuen website before you go. Although it is only a special public day, there are fewer people than other Ijinkan in Kitano, so you can spend a relaxing time. I think it's good to enjoy the gap with the Japanese garden in Sorakuen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ インド系イギリス人貿易商ハッサム氏の自邸として建てられ、北野町にあったものを昭和36年に現在の場所、相楽園の中に移築された重要文化財に指定させているものです。
外観だけでなく、内部も椅子やソファーは張り替えてあるものの、当時の様子を伺い知ることが出来ます。
It was built as the home of Indian British trader Hassam, and what was in Kitano Town is designated as an important cultural property that was relocated to the current location, Sorakuen, in 1963.
Not only the appearance but also the interior of the chair and sofa have been replaced, but you can see what it was like at the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神戸 菊花展開催に行きました。ハッサム邸は特別公開の日 限定です。相楽園に事前 問い合わせが必要です。北野の有料公開の異人館に比べると 調度品は余り置いてありませんでした。ハッサム邸の公開されていなくても､相楽園の庭園は十分 楽しめます。
I went to the Kiku Flower Exhibition in Kobe. The Hassam House is only open on special days. Please contact Sorakuen in advance. Compared to the paid public Ijinkan in Kitano, there were not many furnishings. Even if Hassam House is not open to the public, you can fully enjoy the gardens of Sorakuen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々、北野にある異人館だったのですが、神戸市に寄贈されたことで、ここ相楽園へ移築されました。全体が洋館ですが、木造で屋根が瓦ぶきになっていて、和洋折衷です。レンガでできた煙突が２つ 屋根のてっぺんに付いています。阪神淡路大震災の時に煙突の１つが落下して、それが今でも庭に保存されています。古いガス灯が庭にあって、日本でも最初期のものらしいのですが、写真を撮ってよくみると、中に電球が入っています。(訪問：2019-06-09)
Originally, it was a foreigner's house in Kitano, but it was relocated here to Sorakuen because it was donated to Kobe City. The whole is a Western-style building, but the roof is tiled with wooden, and it is a Japanese and Western ordinance. Two brick chimneys are attached to the top of the roof. At the time of the Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake, one of the chimneys fell and it is still stored in the garden. There is an old gas lamp in the garden, and it seems to be the first thing in Japan, but when I take a picture and take a good look, there is a light bulb inside. (Visit: 2019-06-09)
