★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After lots of (great) Japanese food I needed a day off and followed some good reviews about this restaurant. And they all where right. The food was fantastic. The marinated seafood (octopus and scallops) and tuna salad where just gorgeous and the main (lamb chops) were good as well. But the best of all was the warm and friendly atmosphere. Almost made me a little home sick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my favorite and most memorable meal in Japan. The food was divine: the flavors, varying textures and beautiful presentation. The service was impeccable and so friendly despite us not having reservations. Fukuma, our server, was so attentive he noticed that my husband really enjoyed the puffed rice that held one of our dishes that he left it for my husband to devour. He also described all of our dishes in English. It was 11 courses and you can select as many of the 8 desserts. It was such an amazing value. This would be equivalent to a $250 meal in San Francisco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite possibly the best meal I've ever had. We went on our last night in Japan and had an incredible experience. The staff were fantastic, and restaurant itself was beautiful and the food was second to none, best steak I've ever had and the garlic rice complimented it very well. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

This dish was the appetizer of the prefix course.
(I am not sure how the course has changed; as there was a price and menu change of the prefix course when I re-visited here.)
I recommend people to taste NY strip steak as this steak is one of the best steak I ve ever had. Also, this restaurant has very nice dessert menu.
Above all, the interior is very beautiful, there is a very beautiful back garden as well.
And all the staffs are very kind and professional. Even though I am not a Japanese speaker, all staffs are fluent in English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very romantic and nice restaurant. The food is delicious and the restaurant itself is in a beautiful garden. Really a lovely place. The staff is very polite and kind. And the price is not that high (10000¥ for 2 people).
THE place to go for a romantic dinner in Osaka !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly staff who go out of there way to please! When available, it has a great roof space. Especially, nice to escape the crowds along the river during the Cherry Blossom season. Will definitely go back again!
