Teppen Onnadojo - Shibuya City

Very friendly izakaya with high energy from a female-operated and owned store. Very pleasant place to visit. Staff can understand rudimentary English and are of much help to understand what to order. All dishes are tasty and are made with care. It is a very fun pub to visit!

Wandered in here alone since it looked happening from the outside. What lovely place... Food was great but it's really the staff and hence the atmosphere that makes this place special. Every staff is chirpy and passionate, lots of chanting and shouting. In particular Ami was super nice even though there was a language barrier.

first visited a year ago as we were staying across the road. Had to come back. Amazing energy from the staff who seem to really love what they do. The energy transfers to the patrons to make this a great place to eat and drink. On top of that, the yakitori is also very good. Would recommend everything with onion and the pork, pepper and cheese!

This visit really raises the bar for Izakaya experience!! The staff was very friendly,helpful & attentive (All of them!) The food was simply Oishi!! Must try their Rolled Omelet with Cheese!! It was a birthday celebration and the arrangement they had for us was breathtaking!!Thanks for getting the whole place to celebrate with us. You need to experience first hand and it was worth it!! Kudos to the team!! Definitely will be back for my next visit!!

For sure a fun place to have izakaya experience. Staff is super polite, and also very fun, with many interactions throughout the night. As other have said, it can get a bit loud, but that's part of the experience. The food is delicious with a nice range of options. Check it out!

Have to take off shoes before entering but they take care of your shoes for you. 1 female bathroom and 1 unisex bathroom available. Amazing vibe, positive and energetic staff, super friendly and welcoming. Greetings, thank you's and bows all the time. I love how the staff seem to love what they do. Everything they do, they do with a smile and at 120%! Ordered some Izakaya skewers, a highball cocktail and calpris. When I ordered the grilled mackerel they torched it right beside me with all the staff singing to it. It definitely got the excitement up. There seems to be fish, pork and chicken options served but no beef. But all the food was super delicious. Having sitting in front of the bartender and the cook, I can see how much they enjoy their work and appreciate serving good food to their customers. It was also my partner's birthday and with the limited English that they knew they still drew us a complimentary birthday cake with wishes written. It was super cute and super sweet. There were about 5 people working (2 servers, 1 at grill, 1 bartender and 1 main cook), they all worked in sync, hand-in-hand with great communication. I can feel the excitement and happiness in the air. And the attention to detail and hospitality that they served was amazing. My server Linda was super cute, even when she was finishing her shift she still chatted with me, gave us hugs and wishes my partner a happy birthday once again. Upon leaving, the other server set our shoes ready for us, gave us candies and bowed to us a good farewell. Even without us looking and even with us meters apart she was blowing. I felt completely honoured and amazed. I have so much love for this place I will definitely return.

Tasty food and a really fun experience. Try to come in early, as we were there at 9pm and they already ran out of some of the stuff on the menu... The chicken thigh skewer was by far the best one we had, it's a must try. The rest of the food was really good too. Might be worthwhile to grab a look at the menu before there, as we couldn't find anyone with decent English. Other than that, really good service by very friendly people.

Dined here for the second time as the first was absolutely unforgettable. The food is good, but the atmosphere... My God. It's phenomenal. The staff have so much energy and they really show that they love their job. It felt as though I was entering a friend's house as everyone was so chatty and friendly. They really brought life to the place. The restaurant is simple, the kitchen is open and there aren't too many seats available. I feel the whole restaurant jelly jam packed could fit 50 people. The food is incredibly tasty and simple. If you order a rolled omelette, you will be served a rolled omelette. 2 or 3 dishes will easily fill you to the absolute brim. The beverages served here are plenty and delicious. I still can't get over the atmosphere. If you're anywhere in Tokyo, definitely try this place out. It's impossible to feel sad in this restaurant. Thank you so much for making this night so memorable.
