宮	宮川功章 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 五百らかんさんで有名な井伊家ゆかりの寺院。五百体ある羅漢像が素晴らしい。基本的に空いているのでじっくり鑑賞できます。もっと重要な文化財になってもいい気がします。境内には井伊直弼の供養塔と、文久の改革で処断された長野主膳の墓があります。興味深いのは「花の生涯」のヒロインとして有名な、直弼の妾で長野主膳の妻であり、京で尊王攘夷派のスパイ活動を担った村山たかの供養塚がひっそりとあることです。他にも日本最大級（らしい）布袋像もあります。なんとも言えない笑顔でほっこりします。高台にあるので彦根市内が一望でき、彦根城天守も見えます。この景観の良さで井伊家の肝煎りになったのかな。 A temple that is famous for five hundred ragans. y	yo “TS2121” sakuro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021/10に参拝。拝観料は400円、御朱印は300円でした。入口までは坂道ですが、車で上まで行けます。駐車場は無料です。境内はそれほど広くないので、30分くらいあれば十分です。仏像は京都の三十三間堂のように横にずらっと並んでいるわけではなく、四方に囲まれる形で安置されています。石庭からは彦根市街が一望できます。幕末の大老、井伊直弼公の供養塔がありますので見忘れなく。 Worship on 2021/10. The admission fee was 400 yen and the red stamp was 300 yen. There is a slope to the entrance, but you can drive up. Parking is free. The precincts are not so large, so about 30 minutes is enough. The Buddha statues are not lined up side by side like Sanjusangendo in Kyoto, but are enshrined in a form surrounded by all sides. You can overlook the city of Hikone from the stone garden. T	Togyuu 096 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近くのイオンタウンの駐車場からいつも見えるお寺。　なかなか大きなお寺だなぁといつも思っていたが、五百羅漢像がある井伊家に縁のあるお寺だとは調べるまで知らなかった。一人ひとり羅漢様を拝観しているとポーズ、表情、仕草などは色々で連れと「あの手に持っているものは何だろう？」とか「職場のあの人に似てる！」（不謹慎かも知れませんが…）とか話しながら拝観しているとあっという間に時間が過ぎていきます。やはり五百体以上もあると、あちこち傷みが見られる。壊れてしまった像の一部が横に置かれていたりするのを見ると、この先維持していくのは大変だろうな…と少し暗い気持ちになる。少し寄附させてもらったら絵葉書のセットをもらいました。 A temple that you can always see from the parking lot of nearby Aeon Town.
