★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it. Quiet and peaceful. I found the spot finally after asking a bunch of people and not getting any answers. It’s a beautiful area with Fujisan in the background that should be shared. The road up there is narrow so take a small car. Some guys I met there actually rode bikes up there. That was something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went on a sunny day. Skies were clear and the weather was cold. We did not know it snowed a few days prior. We trrkked from the hill base and it was challenging with all the snow. Beautiful scenery with a beautiful shrine at the base.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t understand why this place has even 4.3 stars. Sure the view might be nice but it’s a manufactured ploy to swindle money from you. There are plenty of places with just as amazing or even better views of Fuji that aren’t run by a racist dictator that only threw a fake torii gate there designed to make you think it’s worth the ¥500 per selfie pic. My advice read some maps and some travel guides and enjoy the freedom that comes with other locations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely stunning. I’m so glad I came to visit. For those coming from Tokyo - If you take the Chuo Line Fuji Excursion train from Shinjuku station to Kawaguchiko Station - it’s a breeze. There are taxi’s that can get you from kawaguchiko to Tenku no Torii.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marvelous view which needs a little bit luck. Sunny day after heavy snowing weather. Climbing the mountain was challenging but the view is stunning. And visitor who using camera needs to purchase a ticket(500 yen for a year available)
