★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道4号線側から来る場合、下り坂とカーブが終わるとこにあり、見落とさぬよう注意です。以前は林に囲まれていたのでしょう。現在は御神木とその周辺の数本のみとなっています。
築館黒瀬の鹿島神社、迫町新田の時行神社、石巻市南境の八幡神社も同じような状況で、保全の為には致し方ないのでしょうが、林がなくなっている景観は個人的に寂しく感じます。
