立	立秋 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天童古城は、全山が中世山城で、県内随一の規模をほこる。いたるところに削平された平場やそれをめぐる曲輪をみることができる。もっとも高所のこのあたりが主郭であった。かつてこのあたり一帯に建物がたち並び、東側の一段高い場所には櫓があった。曲輪には古井戸が残っている。周囲には急な崖(切岸)がめぐり、その下方には帯曲輪がとり巻き、さらに段状にいくえにも曲輪が連なる。虎口が愛宕社参道あたりに開き、西側の屋根を登りつめたところにも出入口があったらしい。天正十二年(一五八四)一〇月、南北朝期以来この地を支配していた天童氏は、最上義光に攻められ落城した。 The entire mountain of Tendo Kojo is a medieval mountain castle, and it is the largest in the prefecture. It seems that there was a doorway where the tiger mouth opened around the approach to Atago Gongen and climbed the roof on the west side. In October of the 12th year of the Tensho era (1584), Mr. Tendo, who had ruled this land since the Northern and Southern Dynasties, was attacked by Mogami Yoshiaki and fell.

村	村上康司 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天守跡には、古い神社が立ってました。案内板が有り天守にまつわる情報が掲載されていました。古い井戸の跡もありましたが、水は枯れていました。山の中は、蚊がいるので、虫除け対策していく事をお勧めします。 An old shrine stood on the castle ruins.
