Mr. Inoue, the representative, kindly explained and served customers, and I enjoyed visiting the different fabrics and stories of those days. Jeans and denim jackets are also comfortable to wear and are made with great care, and are reasonably priced. This brand is recommended for those who are interested in vintage and replica jeans. The discolored sample of the jeans that are hung is ? very cool and helpful.

Amazing peoples in there (it's both the shop and the factory). The owner is an amazing guy who shares with you his passion for denim. I bought jeans with amazing fit and they immediatly cut it to my length for no charge. Plus I got a very nice denim totebag.

Can’t wait to go back! Even if you take a train to Kojima, don’t hesitate to take a taxi here. They explain the items throughly (in English) and show you their exacting attention to detail. They truly replicate clothes from the 1910s through the 60s down to the stitches. I learned a lot about how workwear was quite wide and baggy before the 60s. For purists seeking authentic vintage denim replicas this is the place.

I have to correct the previous review I gave to TCB Jeans (which you can read below) After sometime and after contacting Inoue-san directly, I was finally given a satisfactory reply to my queries, and this time, I felt the proper time and effort was dedicated to taking care of a customer. The answers I was given were relevant and detailed. It gave me a better insight of the brand. I wish this had been so from the start, which would have avoided the initial disappointment I felt. I'm glad things were straightened out in the end. For this score review is well deserved. I shall review the score again when I have worn their products for a longer period and can give an honest review about how the denim handled time. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I know there are a lot of good reviews for this brand over the internet. I also know that westerners are pretty hyped about Japanese denim. But I would not consider buying from TCB. Now their product may be good. I only received mine over a month ago. Time will tell how their denim ages, and fades. But in my opinion nothing justifies buying from them over any of their competitors. There are plenty of other denim brands out there. My experience with TCB has been really bad. I'm not judging the quality of their product here but rather their customer service and I guess the overall attitude of the company. Which I would qualify as rude and pretentious They don't care about customers once they've taken their cash. For the long story: After being recommended TCB by denim and fashion enthusiasts in Japan, I became really fond of the brand and the small industry trying to make quality vibe. I contacted them to get some advice regarding sizes. Shortly after I was contacted by one of their English speaking staff, who gave some advice and helped me figure out my size. Already the image I had of a Japanese company, taking care of its customers and building a fan base, started to get chipped as the person was overly casual in our exchanges. On top of that I was specifically told one of their jeans was unsanforized and would shrink to size. I bought for 500$ worth of denim. On reception I realised the denim was in fact sanforized as the tag in the jeans indicated. When I contacted them, I was rudely told not to care about the tags on their garments. Which is strange for a company that prides itself in being denim experts. I guess TCB craftsmen are not familiar with sanforization which is quite astonishing. After the emails I received which clearly sent me the vibe that they could not care less about my queries, I decided to send a direct message to their CEO to politely explain my disappointment. After a few weeks and no answer, I decided to send the email again, this time to their website directly, in hope the previous one had ended in their spam box. But I have still not been contacted by any TCB member, to acknowledge my message and perhaps apologize as it would be the normal thing to do. So in conclusion, if you consider buying Japanese denim, your bucks are better spent on another company, which will value their customer's experience and feedback.
