★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料でキャンプもできる河川敷という事で人気があるようで、週末は場所がないほど、かなり混み合います。一束500円の薪売りもいます。トイレは隣接する公園のトイレで歩いて200mほど。洗いはもちろん、水くみ等の使用も禁止されていますのでマナーを守って利用させて頂きたいです。川は浅瀬ですがかなり流れが早いので、足をつける程度なら楽しめます。
 It seems to be popular because it is a riverbed where you can camp for free, and it gets quite crowded on weekends as there is no place. There is also a bundle of firewood for 500 yen. The toilet is about 200m on foot from the toilet in the adjacent park. Not only washing but also the use of water is prohibited, so please follow the etiquette. The river is shallow, but the flow is quite fast, so you can enjoy it as long as you put your feet on it.

無料キャンプ場との口コミが散見されますが、管理者である神奈川県厚木土木事務所は当該地でのキャンプ行為を認めておりません。
あくまでも自己責任による個人的な河川敷の自由使用の範疇に収めお咎め無しというだけです。
また掃除をしている方々は管理人でもありません。
理解あるごく一部の地元企業地元住民の方々が、ボランティアで清掃活動しています。
なので、キャンプ場ではなく管理人不在の野営地です。
この野営地(キャンプが出来る場所)という呼び方も管理者側としては微妙なところかと思いますが。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広々しており週末の混雑日でも他団体と距離をとってキャンプを楽しむことができます。夕方になると薪売りの人が来るので、買い足すことも可能です。ゴミ処理場や洗い場はないので、責任を持って持ち帰り正しく処理できる人のみが利用したいものです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 釣りやキャンプなどで人気の河原です。最近はキャンプする方がずいぶん増えました。2022年正月早々に同じ愛川町の中津川河川敷でキャンパー等による火災が立て続けにあったようです。風の強い日は焚き火をしない・火の後始末はしっかりする・火を扱う時は近くに水を入れたバケツを用意する等、焚き火のマナーや安全対策を守って利用しましょう。乾燥した日が続いた風の強い日はあっという間に延焼します。充分気をつけて下さい。
トイレは近くにあるので助かります。近くにとくらやさんやコメリさん、コンビニがあるので薪や炭、食料品の調達に便利です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ キャンプブームになり、シーズン中は近づくと煙やバーベキューの匂いがします。
今のご時世となっては、直火NGだと思いますが、そこら中に焚火の後があり、残念です。都心に近い、そして無料という代償は大きいのかもしれません。
キャンプと言えど自然を楽しむというのは、もうここは厳しいと思います。
緊急事態宣言が明けても暫く閉鎖中でした。
冬に入ると人が減って昔の落ちつきを取り戻し、少しホッとします。

トイレは定期的に清掃頂いているようです。夜は消灯します。洗い場、炭捨て場はないので水を充水したタンクと火消しつぼが必要です。薪は薪売りのトラックが遅くまで販売に来ていました。また、私が行った時は屋台の販売で石焼きイモやじゃがバターが出ていました。中津川の向かいに道路があり、走り屋が何往復かしていました。
利用者は多分御用達のキャンパーばかりで、キレイに使うよう心掛けている感じでした。

必ず出たゴミは片付け持ち帰る
焚き火をする時は必ず焚き火台を使うなど
簡単なルールを守る事が何故出来ないのか？
直火の跡が結構ありました。残念です
夕方に薪を売りに来てくれるので足りない時は買いました。
ホームセンターよりも安かったです
