★ ★ ★ ★ ★ mapでは浦城の跡から離れているようですが行き方はmapの秋田自動車動の右からその下のトンネルをくぐって（mapでは破線に当たる）ちょうど浦城の跡の裏側（にある）へ行くように何処までも行くと現れます。ここまでは自動車。ついてここから左へ登ると浦城頂上へ、右へ登ると副川神社上殿へ・・・

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高岳山と浦城を含めてぐるり一周すると景色の変化に富んだ素晴らしい山。
紅葉の時に訪れましたが眺望が素晴らしく、戦国時代には、干拓前の八郎潟が眺められたのであろう。
滝には梵字が彫られています。見つけにくいですがよく見るとみえますよ。
