★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秋田自動車道”琴丘森岳”を出て県道37を東に琴丘町まで走ると、県道のすぐそばに八郎潟に注ぐ三種川上流部に扇滝はある。扇滝から県道37をさらに東に走り、県道285を経て県道215を下ると小阿仁川支流の五反沢川対岸に、層状の岩肌が美しい五反沢大滝が見える。
 If you leave the Akita Expressway "Kotooka Moridake" and drive east on Prefectural Road 37 to Kotooka Town, you will find Sentaki in the upper reaches of the Mitane River, which flows into Hachirogata, right next to the prefectural road. From Sentaki, drive further east on Prefectural Road 37, and after going down Prefectural Road 215, you will see Gotanzawa Otaki with a beautiful layered rock surface on the opposite bank of the Gotanzawa River, a tributary of the Koani River.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 晴れ間が続いたせいか水量が乏しく迫力に欠けていました。対岸に道らしきものが見えたが行く術がわからず断念。
The amount of water was scarce and lacked power probably because the sunny days continued. I saw something like a road on the opposite bank, but I gave up because I didn't know how to go.
