住宅側の歩道に案内板がチョロっとある程度で単なる原っぱです。
保護はされているようですが、整備はされていないようです。

円墳以外には周溝を伴わない土坑墓や九州に見られる地下式土坑墓・馬の埋葬墓も見つかる
副葬品も多く出土品は八戸市博物館に展示されている
