岡	岡ちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元和元(1622)年、常陸国古渡より棚倉に移封された丹羽長重は幕府より築城の命を受け、寛永元(1624)年に近津明神(都々古別神社)を馬場の地に遷宮し、翌2年その跡地に棚倉城の築城に着手しました。その後慶応4(1868)年に戊辰戦争で落城するまでの240余年、8家16代の城主交代があり、お堀に住む大亀が水面に浮かぶと決まってお殿様が転封されたということから、別名『亀ケ城』とも云われています。土塁の上には南北朝時代の板碑や棚倉城規模碑、畑俊六(はたしゅんろく)元帥終焉の碑などがあり、西側外堀跡には約160mにわたり石垣が残っています。城跡内の広大なスペースに駐車可能で南側にトイレあります。 Nagashige Niwa, who was transferred to Tanagura from Kowatari, Hitachi Province in 1622, was ordered to build a castle by the Shogunate, and in 1624, Kondo Myojin (Tsutsukowake Shrine) was set up in Baba. 檜	檜鶴聡 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山本不動尊の帰りに立ち寄りました。紅葉が見頃とのことで行ったんですが、外周に鮮やかな赤い紅葉が広がっていました。お堀の噴水が造る虹とマッチしててとても綺麗でした。小さな公園もあり子供たちが元気に遊んでいて、とてものどかで落ち着いた気持ちになりました。 I stopped by on the way back from Yamamoto Fudoson. I went there because the autumn leaves were in full bloom, but bright red autumn leaves were spreading around the perimeter. It matched the rainbow created by the fountain in the moat and was very beautiful. There is also a small park where the children are playing well and it makes me feel very peaceful and calm.

M	Mitsu Suzu (駿河守幻夢斎) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 棚倉駅から徒歩15分。新白河駅からバスもあります。本丸とその周囲の水堀が残されていて公園整備されており、遺構の美しさと紅葉を堪能した。 15 minutes walk from Tanakura station. There is also a bus from Shin Shirakawa Station. The main enclosure and the water moat around it are left behind and the park is maintained, and I enjoyed the beauty of the remains and the autumn leaves.
小	小梅ちゃん2001 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 城跡と言っても、石垣はありません。四周をお堀で囲まれた、小さな公園と言った感じです。お堀からは噴水が出ていて、数えたら六ヶ所ありました。東側から入ると、大きなけやきが目印です。ただ、棚倉町全体に言えるのは、どの名所旧跡にも案内板などがすごく控えめなところ。もう少し整備したらよいかな。本丸は、子供たちが自転車でサイクリングしてました。 There is no stone wall even if it is called a castle ruin. It feels like a small park surrounded by moats on all four sides. There were fountains coming out of the moat, and there were six places when I counted them. Entering from the east side, you will see a big keyaki. However, what can be said about Tanagura Town as a whole is that the information boards are very modest at every historic site. I wonder if I should improve it a little more. In Honmaru, children were cycling by bicycle.
